About California AB 1200

We are dedicated to ensuring the highest level of product safety and adherence to all relevant legislation. Under California's AB 1200, cookware manufacturers are obligated to disclose specific information if certain chemicals are deliberately included in the parts of cookware that come in contact with food or its handles. This page provides detailed tables indicating which products require this disclosure.

Beginning January 1, 2024, according to Section 109010 of the California Health & Safety Code, cookware manufacturers selling products in California are required to disclose any intentionally added chemicals that are listed on the California DTSC Candidate Chemical List. These chemicals, if present in the cookware's handle or any food-contact surface, must be disclosed. Additionally, since January 1, 2023, there's a mandate for manufacturers to list these chemicals on their websites.
